Service Description

The Cheesemaker's Table A guided tasting experience with professional cheesemaker Erin Jones Pull up a chair and discover the hidden world of artisan cheese. The Cheesemaker's Table is an interactive tasting experience unlike a traditional cheese tasting. Hosted by professional cheesemaker Erin Jones, you'll taste your way through a curated selection of artisan cheeses while uncovering the stories, science and surprises behind every bite. With over 20 years of commercial cheesemaking experience, Erin combines expert knowledge with a relaxed, down-to-earth style that makes this experience fun, engaging and full of those "I never knew that!" moments. No complicated food jargon, no intimidating wine talk—just great cheese, great conversation and plenty of laughs. Every experience is built around three interactive chapters: Taste Like a Cheesemaker Discover how professional cheesemakers use sight, aroma, texture and flavour to evaluate cheese, and learn how simple pairings can completely transform your tasting experience. Guess the Cheese Become part of the action with live audience voting as you guess the milk, style and country of origin before the stories behind each cheese are revealed. Artisan vs Commercial Can you taste the difference? Compare artisan cheeses with commercial supermarket varieties and discover what really creates flavour, quality and value, along with practical tips for choosing better cheese. The experience concludes with The Master Cheesemaker Challenge, where guests compete for the title of Master Cheesemaker and one lucky winner takes home a Cultured Cheese School Haloumi Cheesemaking Kit. Whether you're joining a public event or hosting your own private experience, The Cheesemaker's Table is designed to bring people together through great food, conversation and a shared love of discovering something new.
